How to Install Sliding Closet Doors

Sliding closet doors
Top track
Bottom track
Double-sided tape

Measuring tape

1. Install the Top Track

1. Position the Track:

Align the top track so that its front edge is in line with the front edge of the wardrobe’s sidewalls.

2. Secure the Track:

Use screws to attach the top track firmly to the wardrobe’s frame. Ensure that the track is level before securing.

2. Attach the Bottom Track

1. Position the Track:

Place the bottom track on the floor. For asymmetrical profiles, align it 18 millimeters away from the edge of the wardrobe sidewalls. For symmetrical profiles, align it 9 millimeters away.

2. Secure the Track:

Use double-sided tape or a similar adhesive method to attach the bottom track to the floor. You can also use screws to attach on wooden floors.

3. Insert the Doors

1. Insert the Top of the Door:

Lift the door and insert the top of the door into the groove of the top track.

2. Insert the Bottom Rollers:

While holding the door, align the bottom rollers with the groove in the bottom track. Lift the door slightly to fit the rollers into the track.

4. Adjust the Doors

1. Adjust the Height:

Adjust the height of the doors by turning the adjustment screw located near the bottom rollers. This will help ensure the doors close tightly to the sidewalls of the wardrobe.

2. Check the Alignment:

Ensure the doors are aligned correctly and that they slide smoothly and quietly in the tracks.

5. Test the Doors

1. Open and Close:

Slide the doors back and forth to check for smooth operation.

2. Check the Fit:

Make sure the doors close tightly against the wardrobe sidewalls.
